A seed does not ask permission to become a tree. It's buried in darkness, pressed by soil, yet it obeys a command written into its very DNA long before it ever sees the sun. It pushes and splits its own shell until it sprouts out. Growth was never optional; it was its nature.
Harvest time crowns each agricultural season with goodness and abundance. It is also a time of rejoicing for the consequences of efforts or activities. But even this pales in comparison with joy of the harvest of souls for whom Christ died and for whom we have laboured over in prayer and evangelism.
As ministers of the gospel, we are positioned at a prophetic and historic moment with unprecedented opportunities for the gospel. The scripture is explicit, “...It’s harvest time” (Rev. 14.15 MSG). To this end, we must cast out sleep’, by staying aglow and burning with the Spirit, serving the Lord (Romans 12:11 AMP).
