The call to ministry is a call to continuous growth, expansion, and advancement. The true Church of Jesus Christ is never stagnant or static; it must spread! Acts 19.20 (NIV) declares,  “…the word of the Lord spread widely and grew in power".In the same light, regardless of where you started your ministry, it has the license to grow! No matter how much your ministry has expanded, there are still more territories to conquer until the gospel reaches all nations of men.

Ministry is advancing, and we must advance with it. Some ministers remain stuck in past victories or disappointments, refusing to embrace new levels. Such stagnation leads to irrelevance. We must not be stuck in the past; we must press on!

Challenges, distractions, and adversities will come, but we mustn't faint in the day of adversity (Proverbs 24.10). Instead, we must press on toward the mark (Philippians 3.14-15 MSG).

As God’s first fruit, we have the yeast to rise. Irrespective of any daunting situation, we have the blessing to spread everywhere for the glory of God. As the apostles were told in Acts 5:28, “…..behold you have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine…”, this year, we will fill every city and town with the gospel. The message must go in all direction; to the north, south, east, and west.

The dominion of God’s word in you and your ministry is indispensable. One of the ways to ensure your ministry never becomes static is by the transforming power of God’s Word. Some ministers fall into the trap of neglecting their spiritual preparation. They give attention to everything else during the week, and then struggle to find a message for Sunday. This must not be our story. The work of God can only be done through the ministry of the Holy Spirit and the Word, and regardless of the opposition, one thing is certain: you will win.
