Favour is gracious kindness. It's also about efforts made on one's behalf or in one's interest. The Bible narrates the touching story of how King David decided to favour Mephibosheth, from the house of Saul, because of his love for his father, Jonathan. He restored all the land that had belonged to Saul to Mephibosheth and made him eat at the king's table as a son continually (2 Samuel 9:1-13). That is graciousness!
Our heavenly Father dispenses far more favours. God's kindness has no limits; it gives everything God has. The LORD said to Abraham in Genesis 12:2 (AMPC):
"And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you [with abundant increase of favors] and make your name famous and distinguished, and you will be a blessing [dispensing good to others]." The same blessings apply to your life today as a seed of Abraham.
Align yourself and walk in accordance with the above scripture. Always look for somebody to dispense favour to. The Lord has chosen you to be a dispenser of favours. As you do this, you will discover how the Lord keeps singling you out for favours, as though you are the only one there.
