For a child of God, TRUTH is far more than an abstract concept; it is the very foundation of our existence, the bedrock upon which a life of purpose is built. Jesus said, “Thy word is truth” (John 17:17). This powerful statement means our lives are not to be constructed on the shifting sands of human assumption, popular opinion, or the deceptive whispers of phrases such as “nobody’s perfect”. Such ideas are deceptions that keep us from the high calling of God.

Truth, in its most profound sense, is reality, not merely a fact to be known. And since God’s Word is TRUTH, our lives ought to be a living, breathing manifestation of His Word, shining from glory to glory. This is true Christianity: a life lived in conscious, unwavering truth—a radiant reflection of the perfection and righteousness of Jesus Christ Himself.

Being conscious of truth, therefore, can only be cultivated through meditation on God’s Word. It is not a passive act, but an active, dynamic process. It begins with pondering the Scriptures, turning them over in your mind, and seeking their depth and meaning. Then you proceed to mutter them—softly speaking the truths to yourself, allowing them to seep into your spirit. Finally, you roar the Word, declaring it with boldness and authority, establishing its truth in your life and circumstances. This process deposits the Word deep within you, making your spirit a trustworthy guide and ensuring that, when occasion demands it, the truth will come forth—powerful and unshakeable.
