Recent global events have revealed a remarkable truth: the enemy and his allies are bewildered and faltering. Amid their confusion, God has strategically placed His Church for an unparalleled season of global evangelism, with ministers leading the charge. The current happenings in the United States have brought about the enactment of policies that have created extraordinary opportunities for the gospel worldwide in a ripple effect. Such policies that uphold and defend the rights of believers are paving the way for global evangelism like never before. This development is not a mere political shift but a sign for the body of Christ, indicating the imminent return of our Lord Jesus is closer than ever (1 Corinthians 15.52).

This year, we stand on the precipice of completing the Great Commission. The third vital element of the year of completeness overtly mandates us to complete the full preaching of the Gospel to all nations. This is the season when the entire work of the Kingdom is involved. Our focus must now shift to completing this mission and being prepared to declare, like Apostle Paul, “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course…” (2 Timothy 4:7).

Completing this Kingdom assignment demands urgency, diligence, and an unwavering spirit. We must therefore “cast out sleep,” maintaining fervency in our service to the Lord, bearing in mind that it necessitates a single, glorious expectation: the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. We must now be expecting the Lord! Until that perfect day of the Lord, we are called to remain steadfast, immovable, and abounding in the work of the Lord (1 Corinthians 15:58). This is our charge—to press on until every nation hears the Good News of salvation.

To fulfill this divine mandate,  we must cast out sleep and stay energised for ministry.

Here are three essential steps:

1. Pray in the Spirit Like Never Before

The key to staying awake and alert is through fervent, Spirit-filled prayer. We’ve been admonished to pray in the Spirit this year like never before. As you stay filled with the Spirit (1 Corinthians 14:18), you will activate the power of God inside you and find answers and readiness for every situation. You will embody the fullness of the seven spirits of God, ensuring that your ministry operates with excellence and precision.

2. Prioritise Fellowship with Fellow Ministers

Fellowship with fellow ministers ignites strength and synergy in this mission. Join the ISM Ministers Network through the ISM Global Cell Ministry and the ISM Ministers’Prayer Network. These platforms foster mutual encouragement and collaboration for ministers to achieve extraordinary results for the Kingdom.

With every sermon preached, every soul won, and every nation reached, we edge closer to completing our divine mandate.
