Acts 4:33 declares: “And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all”. Their powerful witness had an amazing result- great measures of grace rested upon them all.
The scriptures also let us know that when Barnabas was sent as an emissary from the church at Jerusalem to the church at Antioch, he noticed the amazing grace of God that was at work in them (Acts 11:22-23).
Grace is the outward expression of the inner working of the Spirit of God in a man’s life and John 1:17 reveals that our life in Christ is one of grace heaped upon grace, meaning grace in ever increasing measure. It’s a joy to know that the outpouring of grace on our lives never ends.
Understand that when the Lord wants to upgrade your life, He gives you more grace and grace among other blessings brings abilities and greater results. This is very important because no one can do more than the Lord has graced them for.
The Apostle Paul told Timothy in 2 Timothy 2:1-3 to be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. In other words, he was to take advantage of the grace in Christ. We therefore understand that we are always to make good use of or avail ourselves of the grace to operate at whatever level in our lives the Lord has planned and purposed for us. Just like the early church, recognise the power of this grace to make you more fruitful and productive in your ministry work and all you do for the Lord.
Rejoice therefore, because this month of August brings with it the blessing of Great Grace. This means you can expect extra ordinary and special things to happen in your life because great grace is for special things.
God’s attention is toward you to do you good and bless you immeasurably. Hallelujah!
