WALKING WORLD

 Understand that every part of your being is endowed with the ability to receive and retain information, and with the passage of time, your personality, mindset, and character are all determined as a result.

One might say that every human person is a ‘walking world’ – a living embodiment of the information received and retained throughout his or her life, whether these be positive or negative.

Thankfully, when a man comes to Christ, what the Lord desires to do is to erase or wipe out all that former information with His word. Romans 12:2 TPT tells us, “Stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you, but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think. This will empower you to discern God’s will as you live a beautiful life, satisfying and perfect in his eyes”

Only the Word of God can give a man a fresh start, and so this reformation or renewal comes through the Word. Nothing else can do it. Hebrews 11:3 declares: “Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear”

In the above scripture, the word ‘worlds’ is translated from the greek word ‘aion’ which refers to the ‘life and times’ of individuals.  We use faith to frame and if need be, to repair our aions. Always ensure that your personal intake of God’s word is of utmost priority to you, to align your entire ‘walking world’: your mind, your thoughts, your interests, and your priorities, with the Lord’s plans and purposes.
